Your Accent Modification Specialist
Northwest Speech Center offers Accent Modification Programs
for improving your business, professional and social speaking skills
- 13 week small group or individual training programs focusing
on speech sound development, intonation, stress, rate, and
complete word production. Weekly home assignments using
CD-ROM or practice tapes.
- 8 week small group or individual training programs for clients
with very mild foreign accents or regional dialects. Weekly
home assignments using CD-ROM or practice tapes.
Each client receives an initial speech evaluation and personalized
program specific to the client's individual speech patterns. Individual
sessions are one hour/week. Group sessions are two hours/week.
Northwest Speech Center is the first provider in the state of
Oregon of the Compton Pronouncing English as a Second
Language Program (Compton P-ESL).
